BDP Kanoo is a part of Kanoo group and is based in Dammam. The company is into logistics and freight forwarding.
Altus ( BHP ) was tasked with implementing the ISO 9001:2015 , ISO 14001:2015 and the OHSAS 18001: 2007 QHSE management system.

Altus has a long association with BDP group and has been providing training and consultancy services for their Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar offices. This association with BDP has helped the consultants to implement the QHSE system in BDP Kanoo. Awareness , implementation and Internal audit trainings have been provided to staff in BDP Kanoo. Process flow charts were made for all the processes in the organisation. Risk and opportunities for different processes were identified. HIRA was documented, objectives and targets determined.However the criticality of the risks were very low as BDP Kanoo was involved only in project management. Risks were mainly for working in office and local travel. Vendors were used for transportation as BDP is a zero asset organisation. The consultants implemented a system of due diligence audits to be conducted on the vendors for quality, health and safety and environmental management system of the vendor.

The company plans to go ahead with the certification audit during the month of November 2017.
